SK Rapid Wien unveiled their new kits for the upcoming season on July 3, 2026. New manufacturer Mizuno presented the home and away shirts, which will be available from July 18. The designs follow the motto 'In the style of youth' and incorporate Viennese architectural motifs.
What makes the new Rapid kits special?
The home shirt comes in classic green with a green-and-white collar. Fine details on the sleeves are inspired by the Otto Wagner Pavilion. The away kit stays true to the club colors red, blue, and white and references the pattern of the Vienna Secession building.
Both shirts feature small but distinctive details. The initials 'SCR' appear on the sleeve and collar trim. A label at the bottom hem shows the Hütteldorf train station with the inscription 'Vienna. West. Hütteldorf.' The orange logo of chest sponsor Wien Energie remains on the home shirt.
What does Rapid managing director Steffen Hofmann say about the new kits?
'With these two kits and the very individual designs that only become visible on closer inspection, we are definitely breaking new ground in the kit history of SK Rapid,' said Steffen Hofmann, the managing director of the Hütteldorf club. The connection between Viennese architecture and club identity was a deliberate choice.
When and where are the new kits available?
Fans can pre-order the new shirts immediately. The official sales start is July 18, 2026. These are the first kits produced by Mizuno for SK Rapid Wien. The Japanese manufacturer replaced the previous supplier.
Anticipation among supporters was high. In the weeks before the official presentation, initial leaks appeared in internet forums. These have now been confirmed. The new kits combine tradition with modern design – in the style of youth and the city.
