SK Rapid Wien is once again at the center of transfer rumors. Fans of the Austrian record champion are criticizing Sporting Director Markus Katzer, whom they blame for the club's poor performance. Currently, football expert Herbert Kager is spreading the rumor that SK Rapid Wien is interested in former captain Stefan Schwab and Marco Arnautovic. However, these rumors are not well received by some fans. In the Kager's forum, they express their dissatisfaction with Katzer and demand his resignation. To make matters worse, a song by the Austropop band 'Cafe Royal 10' is also emerging, which deals with the Rapid board. The song 'Wos hobts es aus meina Rapid gmocht?' has the potential to become a fan anthem. Fans like 'Mecky' are calling on Katzer to finally leave, as they believe he is incapable of leading the club to success. Other fans, however, see a possible transfer of Arnautovic as a positive development for the club. The placings of SK Rapid Wien under Markus Katzer are, however, anything but convincing: 4 - 5 - 5. Any other sporting director would be history by now, according to some fans. The criticism of Katzer is great, and it remains to be seen how the club will react to this.
