SK Rapid Wien starts the pre-season with a new coaching team. New head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup will be supported by three assistant coaches.
What are the changes in the coaching team?
The 40-year-old Danish coach Alan Gürkan Arac and the 34-year-old Serbian coach Luka Pavlović will form the assistant coaching team. Pavlović was already twice interim coach for SK Rapid Wien last year.
Who are the new faces in the green and white camp?
New to the green and white staff is also the 33-year-old Austrian Tobias Hammerschmied, who will work as a sports scientist. For analysis, the German duo Linus Braun and Daniel Schmitt will be responsible.
What does this mean for the future of SK Rapid Wien?
The new head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup and his team will focus on preparing for the new season. Goalkeeper coach remains the 48-year-old Viennese Jürgen Macho, who has been in this position since summer 2019.
